In case you have a large music collection on your computer, like most people do these days, you will surely have a hard time organizing and managing all the songs and albums from your collection, assuming that you don't use the right software for the job. In this case, you could turn to Jukes, a Windows program which allows you to efficiently manage your entire music collection.

The software doesn't need to be installed and it's enough to run the executable included in the program's archive. When running the program, the first thing to do is to add the desired music albums or songs to the interface. Jukes allows adding songs in two ways, either by selecting each song individually or by adding complete music folders. The program even supports importing audio CD tracks into its interface.

When importing songs, Jukes is able to automatically detect the artist's name and the song title by analyzing the ID3 tag information. All the songs added to the program will be automatically listed in the left part of the interface according to the name of the artist. If you want to find a specific album or song, you can either filter the album and song list or you can use the complex search feature, which can display search results in real time.

In case you want to play a specific song from your collection, you can use the built-in audio player, available in the program's interface. Furthermore, you can generate various reports using the available information about songs and albums. These reports can be then saved in a wide range of formats, like XLS, PDF, RTF and so on. Furthermore, the program's database can be backed up, in case the program needs to be reinstalled. Besides that, the configuration settings can be exported to a file and then imported later on.

Pros

It allows you to organize your entire music collection, by adding individual songs and albums to the interface. Furthermore, it can automatically read the artist name and song title from the ID3 tag information. What's more, you can find specific albums or songs either by filtering the display or by using a complex search feature. Moreover, the program's database and configuration settings can be exported to a file.

Cons

The menu system seems a bit too complex at first glance. Jukes allows you to efficiently organize and manage your entire music collection.
